About

The SHOJI Partition Systems Collection

SHOJI represents NUMAEX's precision partition systems built with T6-6063 aerospace-grade aluminium profiles at 3.5mm wall thickness. Lightweight without sacrifice, structurally rigid without visual bulk.

Three configuration modes : Classic (SHOJI), Dual Tone (SHOGUN), and Minimal (SUKI), each engineered for distinct spatial relationships. These partitions accepts a range of stunning surface materials spanning glass, wood, tiles, laminates, Tactile and Numartis glass infills making it the connective tissue of the NUMAEX material library.

Floor-to-ceiling capable up to 4200mm, Shoji is specified for villas, double-height residential entries, hotel suites, boardrooms, and workplaces where separation and visual continuity must coexist.

Shogun is engineered for tall, heavy glass leaves — whisper-quiet operation, concealed top track, and a profile depth tuned for the largest spans. Rotate to study the leaf, the frame join, and the way the glass meets the structure.

Engineered In-House

Inside a SHOJI Partition

Six inputs decide whether a partition still moves true on year ten. We hold every one of them — frame, hardware, coating, gasket — to a higher specification than the market. Click through to see what is inside the panel.

A closed cross-section gives the frame the torsional stiffness of a tube — not the flex of an open U-channel. Even on tall partitions and wide spans the frame holds its line; nothing twists, bends or warps under load.

Why it matters: the panel still moves true on year ten.

Key Features

01
01

T6-6063 Aluminium Profiles

Aerospace-grade aluminium alloy — lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and dimensionally stable across temperature variation.

02
02

3.5 mm Profile Wall Thickness

Engineered for structural rigidity without visual bulk — profiles read as lines, not frames.

03

Concealed Hardware

All hinges and pivot points are flush with the door frame — no exposed mechanism interrupts the surface.

04
04

Three Configuration Modes

Classic, Layered, and Minimal — each optimised for different spatial relationships and plan requirements.

05
05

Glass Infill Compatibility

Accepts clear, frosted, Tactile, and Numartis glass infills — full coordination with the NUMAEX material library.

Floor-to-Ceiling Capable

Engineered for full-height installations up to 3000 mm — suitable for double-height residential and hospitality lobbies.

Why NUMAEX

Why SHOJI Partition Systems by NUMAEX

Every SHOJI track is engineered around the door it carries. We calibrate gauge, weight and glide per project, so a panel installed today moves the same way on year ten. The track, the channel and the glass are specified as a single component rather than three sourced parts — which is why a SHOJI partition closes silently and never settles.
